Inclusion of youth in “PRESPA” activities

These days, in the premises of the Municipality of Resen and the Municipality of Devoll there were working meetings held with the aim of including the schools in some of the activities for the protection of the environment and the waters of Prespa Lake in accordance with EU standards.

 

Representatives from the schools in the Municipality of Resen and Municipality of Devoll participated in these meetings and were introduced with the objectives, activities and results of the project through a brief presentation.

 

In the future within the project a campaign and camp for environmental protection will be organized in which school children from both municipalities will be included and will have opportunity to express their creativity and thereby contribute to environmental protection by creating videos, organising actions, making drawings, poems and eco patrols.

 

These working meetings were carried out within the project “Prevention of risks for environmental sustainable practices for agro producers - PRESPA" funded by the European Union as part of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme between North Macedonia and Albania and is implemented by Center for Civic Initiative from Prilep, Municipality of Resen, Organization for Management of Destination from Korca, and Municipality of Devoll.
